I'm sorry...

Okay... I'll be back soon. My son had pink eye last week and is still struggling with a cold. Then I got hit with something over the weekend, not sure if it's the flu, but it sucks. Oh, and putting eye drops into a 2 year old's eyes is excruciating.

Ah Honey, I feel you. Does it take two people to hold the little monkey down while you give the drops?
I did hear the flu is finally making it's appearance late this season...I still swear by the flu shot. 100% Gotten it every year for the last 5 years and it's been a blessing.

So, so sorry, Sweetie. With the eyedrops, you can put them in while they sleep - lift those little lids up and...plink! And if that doesn't work, get the doc to prescribe Neosporin Opthalmic gel. Works like a charm...
You get some rest if you can-sleep when everyone else does, and take care of yourself. Sending healthy thoughts to you and the family.
