Don't be silly. That would be consistent, for Pete's sake. Wouldn't matter what we show them, they wouldn't be happy. Conspiracy theories are what they are because any evidence can be shown to be yet another conspiracy. Classic, crackpot GOP. When the GOP gets desperate, the hoods come out. Short, but sweet post, Girl. Way to go.
He has a American passport, right? I am not a US citizen but when I applied for an American passport for my son, I had to show his US birth certificate. I am sure Obama had to do the same thing. Especially since he traveled abroad before he run for president or even became a politician. I am so tired of all these conspiracy theories, don't the Neo-Cons have better things to do?!
So nice to see you back posting again, Jen! I was worried about you.Of course this has nothing to do with citizenship. It's racism, pure and simple. These folks don't want a black man to be their President. And, I'm sure MP didn't mean to say that all GOPers are in on this "birthers" thing. Just the really crazy ones. Like Michele Bachman. :-)I've been wondering what your take is on the healthcare reform debate, Jen. Do you have hope something meaningful will pass, or, like me, has all the politics corrupting the debate made you lose hope?
Yeah, I'm still here, just been busy.I've been trying to work up a Healthcare post... but I'm still optimistic. I think the Blue dogs are trying to raise as much money as they can, drag this out a little bit... but politically they'd have to vote for it... or else the democratic party will take a huge hit in 2010. I think there's a lot of things we don't know about what's going on. Unlike the pundits, I was very encouraged by the press conference the other night! HOw bout you?
These people are pathetic, just another juvenile attempt to bring up something that truly doesnt matter.
